December 2009

December was a very busy month for us. We bought a house, moved the week before Christmas, and then went to Tahoe for Christmas. You may think that we are crazy for moving right before Christmas and I would have to agree with you. Not much of a holiday at our house. We did go to Tahoe with Aaron's family. We had fun. We were able to decorate a small tree for the hotel room and decorate a ginger bread house. After returning back from Tahoe we unpacked and then Aaron's brother got married in San Diego on Jan 8. Now I am planning on going to Idaho for three weeks while Aaron is working long hours.
Aaron got his test results back and it is official that he is a CPA. Yea all those long hours of studying really paid off.

Before I take the boys and go to Idaho for 3 weeks, we decided to take the boys to Disney on Ice. It was alot of fun. Alex was hoping to see Toy Story but maybe next time. Here are just a few of the pictures that we took.

Aaron's Birthday

Alex is showing off his gummy worm from the halloween treats that he made. And Ayden is enjoying it.

Alex likes to help me cook. Sometimes I let him choose what he wants to make. He found this in the Halloween cookbook that I have. And that is what we made. Halloween is Alex's favorite holiday. I can't even look at my cookbook because he has it hidden.

I have been into decorating cakes latly. When Alex saw that they had a Toy Story cake he wanted to make one. So I asked a friend if I could make her sons birthday cake because I knew he was into Toy Story. Below is a picture of how it turned out. Also is a picture of Mario. For Aarons birthday cake I want to make Mario popping out of a green tub. I needed the practice to make sure that I could make him. And that is how he turned out this time. I will post pictures of the cake when it is done. It will be a while Aaron's birthday is in Oct.
