Our Trip to the Strip

On Monday (Memorial Day) Aaron had the day off, so we decided to take a trip down to the strip since we haven't been there since we moved to Las Vegas.

This was our first stop. No trip to the strip is complete without a picture in front of the Welcome to Las Vegas sign.

We then went over to the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino where we went to the Shark Reef exhibit. It was really neat. We were able to walk through tunnels where fish and sharks surrounded us. Alex loved seeing all the fish. He is in a stage where he loves fish. He carries around his stuffed Nemo everywhere he goes. He also has to watch his fish movies all the time. Of course he was upset when we had to leave the aquarium.

We also went over to the Bellagio and watched the fountains. We didn't realize how far of a walk it was from the Mandalay, it ended up being quite the walk. Alex thought the fountains were really neat, but he enjoyed the exhibit inside the Bellagio the best. They had several electric trains that went all around the exhibits. We can also say the we saw the world's largest chocolate fountain.

Our final stop was at the M&M store. We had to buy some M&Ms while we were there.

We had a great time while we were at the strip, however we were really tired when we arrived home. We all took a nap and enjoyed the rest of the day together. As you can see from the pictures Amanda has not had the baby yet, but she hopes that we have it real soon.
